Oksana Shilenko
Professionally qualified trainer in sporting dances (Latvian
Academy of Sport Education - LASE).
My dancing way has started in early childhood, when i was six
years old and i began to go in for sporting gymnastics. I was
fascinated by femininity, rhythm, plasticity and beauty of the
motions with the music. And it was that predetermined my
life-way: i decided to devote myself to dancing!
Already one year later i began to perform on the professional
stage: it was ballet, national dances (in the group “Uguntinsh”)
and ballroom dances. From 14 years i tried also variety dances
in studio “Aquamarin”, at the same time i was acting in a film
“Nefertiti”`92, where i have danced and played Pharaoh`s wife.
After small study break i have graduated wih honors and became
diploma “Overcoat tailor”. After it i returned with the greatest
pleasure to dancing but now as a trainer in the different sport
clubs (“Tornado”, “Reaktors”, “Apollo Fitness”, “Atletika”,
“Tropic”).
As regards my passion to the arabic dances, it cames in the year
2003. My teachers were Ilze Zarina (Alegria), Maija and Sigita,
Larisa Janina, Yulia Holodova, Lilia, Pilla Rossi (Estonia),
Maral (Germany), Enussah (Germany), Mahmud Reda and Nour-Tatjana
Fedjajeva (Egypt), Gabi Shiba (Lebanon), Sema Yildih (Turkey),
Maria Shashkova (Moscow).
One year later under the delicate leadership of my favourite
teachers – Yulia Holodova, i performed in the International cup
IDO World Cup-2004 in St.Petersburg and i won 11th place. At the
same time was already formed my own east collective with the
learner from the club “Apollo Fitness”, with whom we performed
in the 1st and the 2nd International Festival of Bellydance in
year 2004-2005 (in Jurmala), (which was organized by
“Karinedance”) and in the charity concert for the children`s
home.
 
In year 2005 i took part with my learner Inessa Karsten in
International Eastern show in Germany ( 11 Internationale Messe
für Orientalistischen Tanz) Orienta 2005.
When i learned with the teachers from Egypt and Lebanon i
understood that we can learn art of bellydance all the time and
more and prefection has no limits. Therefore i don`t want to
stop at what i has been accomplished – at the winning the 5th
prize-place in the nomination “solo-show” with the candles on
the head in the first International East dance Festival in
Moscow, that was gone off in february 2006 (www.bellydance-festival.com)This
victory has encouraged me to build my studio “ArrabiA”, make the
website and organize the first concert with the name “One
evening in the East”.

Yulia Sulimenko
I am learning in the studio “ArrabiA” 10 months already but i
have started in “Karinedance”. I took part in competition “Miss
Spring”, which was organized by studio “Marjam” and i have won
2nd place and i took part in competition “Vederdejotaja 2006”,
which was organized by studio Allegria and i have won 4th place.
I bless my dear Oksana Shilenko for the dance that she has maden,
specially for this competition and for her patience and moral
support. I like to dance very much. I have learned variety
dances, swimming, music, theatre art but i have found me in
bellydance exactly. |

Irina Petersone-Rina
I am learning in the studio “ArrabiA” from the spring 2006. I
have started from the studio “Asfar” in the autumn 2003.
I took part in “Miss sympathy” – “Asfar”, i whave won 3rd place
in the competition “Vederdejotaja 2005”, which was organized by
studio Allegria. I have danced in the different concerts. From
the year 2005 i dance in cafe “Apsara”. I prefer cheerful and
incendiary music and i like to improvise!

Alena Marina
I am learning in the studio “ArrabiA” since the May 2006. I have
learned in the model agency “Mode`S”, where we have learned
bellydance, too. I like dancing a lot and i hope to reach the
top. |

Lubov Bardina
I am dancing east dances in the studio “ArrabiA” since the year
2003. I took part in the different east dance concerts and
festivals. Its very useful, interesting, nice and fascinating
and now i can`t imagine myself without it all!
